Okay, so I thought I’d be livestreaming this whole event, but COVID fatigue said otherwise. Apologies for my very few twitch followers. I didn’t even go get pizza—and y’all know that’s my perfect PLE side piece.
But that didn’t stop me from catching every second of WWE’s Money in the Bank 2025. Let’s break it down, match by match, moment by moment. This event was packed with big names, bigger surprises, and some koo drone shots for a wrestling show. Let’s go.
🗣️ Pre-Show Energy: Vic Joseph Gets His Flowers
Let’s start with the pre-show: they finally gave Vic Joseph the shine he deserves. Co-hosting with Booker can be a lot (you know the vibes), but Vic held it down. Happy to see him and Corey Graves both getting their dues today. Small wins matter.
💼 Women’s Money In the Bank Match
Alexa Bliss vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Naomi vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Giulia vs. Rhea Ripley
Let’s talk about that pop for Alexa Bliss. Ever since her Royal Rumble return, she’s had that crowd in the palm of her hand, and it’s still going strong.
The match? Absolutely bonkers.
Vaquer hit a devil’s kiss on Rhea… on a ladder. Unreal.
Stereo Code Reds from Bliss and Roxanne? Shoutout to Amazing Red.
Naomi, taking all the risk, gets the W after an epic drone-shot pull of the briefcase.
Prediction: Naomi.
Result: Naomi.

🏆 Intercontinental Championship
Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Octagon Jr.
Dirty Dom enters to the usual chorus of love-to-hate-it energy. The crowd lives for him.Not gonna lie—this was barely a challenge for him. Bit of a letdown in terms of drama, but the visual production? The drones, the lighting—A+.
Result: Dom retains.
No surprises here.
🏆 Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch
Now this was storytelling. Becky’s character came full circle—simple pants, simple top, outrageous entrance. A tribute to every version of The Man that came before. And did anyone else catch the kid-style drawing on her back pocket? Her daughter’s work, maybe?
The match was tight. Crowd was with Lyra. Becky pushed the heel turn. Hoped Bayley would got involved to Lyra retained.
Prediction: Lyra via Bayley interference.
Result: Becky wins
Becky deepens her heel arc, Lyra gets the rub after suplex raising her hand and we wait for Bayley to get involved.. This is how you do midcard women’s gold right.
A’s all around. No notes.

🤦♂️ Celebrity Cam Fail
Whoever made the choice to focus on Travis Barker while Danielle Fishel (aka Topanga) sat directly behind him—we gotta talk. We love you, Topanga.
💼 Men’s Money In the Bank Match
Seth Rollins vs. Penta vs. El Grande Americano vs. Andrade vs. Solo Sikoa vs. LA Knight
Insane match. The MVP? Chad Gable, hands down. That ladder climb spot—chef’s kiss. Man has been grinding for years and showed out tonight.
A few notes:
Wade Barrett calling R-Truth “a goofy dork from the past” and then giving nipple stats on Gable and Grande = peak heel commentary.
LA Knight being over in LA? Who would’ve guessed.
Gable double dutied tonight and still looked like a threat.
Andrade pretending not to know how a GIANT caribiner works? Loved it.
FATU showing up for Solo after all that drama? That’s real family. My U.S. Champ for real. Well, until…
Prediction: El Grande Americano
Result: Seth Rollins, but that was obviously the right choice.
👊 Main Event Tag Match
Jey Uso (c) & Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena (c) & Logan Paul
Let’s be real: Cody pinning Cena is the only outcome that made sense. And yet, I couldn’t help but feel a bit off about how it played out. Your world champ (Jey) getting beat down for 15 minutes just to hot tag the guy who just lost his belt? It’s a choice.
Still, Logan taking a suplex from the top rope with a drone in his hand? That’s my idea of a wrestling spot.
Prediction: Cody pins Cena.
Result: DUH.
📦 Final Thoughts
Money in the Bank 2025 was chaos, cinema, and character development all rolled into one.
Naomi and Lyra shined bright.
Gable earned his flowers.
The drone camera budget? Whatever it cost—worth it.
Can’t wait for Bayley’s return.
Wrestling is art. And tonight, the canvas was packed.
